What Is Scalp Micropigmentation?
Scalp micropigmentation (SMP), also known as hair tattoo, is a non-surgical treatment for hair loss in which tiny dots of a special pigment are applied to the scalp to resemble a hair follicle . The pigments are designed to blend into your existing hair to create the look of thicker hair, or if you're completely bald they can give the appearance of shaved hair. SMP can help men and women overcome their hair loss problems in different ways.
The most common go through:
-Restoration of hairlines.
-Create natural density among existing hair.
-Camouflage scars, especially those left from hair transplants.
-Narrowing a wide hair part.
One of the major benefits of a hair tattoo is that it’s non-invasive, meaning there’s no scarring or down time; you walk in and out the same day with immediate results!
SMP is ideal for bald men who want to recreate their hairline and give the appearance of full, extremely short hair. It is also becoming popular with women who want to fill in or thicken their hair.

HAIR MICROPIGMENTATION, THE SOLUTION FOR A NATURAL LOOK
The first session will last 2 to 5 hours. We will work on the entire scalp to be pigmented. We will perform the positioning of the hairline and temples with a very precise measurement technique adapted to the features of your face. This will not be final because you can modify it during the 2nd session. We will choose the pigment color to use based on your skin color and not just your hair color. We will respect your natural density and the diameter of your existing follicles. Afterwards, it will take 2 to 4 days for a good healing. After 24 to 48 hours, the redness will completely disappear. Respecting the post treatment instruction , of course. You will already have a remarkable result.
Always lasting 2 to 5 hours, the 2 session, where will be the time to finalize the front line respecting your taste and with the help of our precious advice. During this session, we will increase the density of the pigment dots by bringing them closer to those created in the first session. It is very important not to arrange them too close to each other in one sitting. To avoid migration of the pigment, and end up with giant dots on the head. The micro pigments must dry under the skin before implanting others nearby. It is certain that you will already want to show the result to your friends.
Third session of the treatment, we will do a touch up in the places where your skin has rejected the pigment. This effect really varies from person to person. It directly depends on how your skin heals. A good hydration of the skin as recommended during the first 2 sessions will prevent you from losing pigment. A post-treatment cream will be given to you. We like our customers to be completely satisfied, so don’t hesitate to ask our expert questions. She will answer you with pleasure.
An additional touch-up is not impossible in the event that your skin is more sensitive during the last session (especially at the level of the crown). If in doubt you can always book a final consultation with our specialist who will be able to determine if it is necessary or not. In any case, with Savvy Glo SMP Hair Solutions, you are in the hands of experts who listen to you, who are passionate about their work and who are proud of the daily transformation of their customers who have found a smile.
For Hamilton and Norwood, this stage of the scale corresponds to the beginning of baldness. Although there is no hair loss, a very slight thinning of the temples can be observed.
Norwood Type 2 display slight recession of the hairline at the temples, with no hair loss at the vertex of the scalp. At this stage, the early signs of the common M-, V- or U-shaped hairline begin to appear.
The first signs of clinically significant balding appear. The hairline becomes deeply recessed at both temples, resembling an M, U, or V shape. The recessed spots are completely bare or sparsely covered in hair.
The hairline recession is more severe than in stage 2, and there is sparse hair or no hair on the vertex. The two areas of hair loss are separated by a band of hair that connects to the hair remaining on the sides of the scalp.
The two areas of hair loss are larger than in stage 4. They are still separated, but the band of hair between them is narrower and sparser.
The balding areas at the temples join with the balding area at the vertex. The band of hair across the top of the head is gone or sparse.
The most severe stage of hair loss, only a band of hair going around the sides of the head remains. This hair is usually not dense and may be fine.
